IT Technical Support Level III

2nd in line to answer and filter help desk calls to provide workstation and server support. Provides onsite support for larger projects such as server installs, network cabling and network infrastructure. Assigned to higher priority clients for full-time management. Responsible for all client and internal network backups, client email administration, patching and server maintenance and server configuration. Provides after-hours on-call support. 25% travel.
Duties include: Windows troubleshooting, peripheral installation, OS installation, mail client setup and troubleshooting, server OS installation, server hardware setup and configuration, Exchange admin advanced troubleshooting, Windows VPN setup, RAID configuration, AD best practices, NIC setup and teaming, advanced network setup/VLAN subnet config/VPN appliance, VOIP config., domain controller migration and decomm, GPO config. and troubleshoot, data migration, SQL maintenance, site-to-site VPN config., advanced router config., hardware virtualization and advanced HyperV config.
Bachelors in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Above average problem solving skills
